We are pleased to announce that on the 3rd of November, CASH DIPLO acquired 15 supermarkets under the Guai banner located in the south of the island of Tenerife. Before the end of the year, all the shops will be renamed Superdiplo, after a process of reform, modernisation and increase of the staff looking to improve the proposal offered to the customer.

Thanks to this purchase, CASH DIPLO reaffirms its position as one of the key operators in the Canary Islands, where it is the leader in terms of number of establishments in the cash&carry sector, and also continues with the development of the supermarket format that it had already started in mainland Spain, consolidating the beginning of a new stage for the company that includes an ambitious growth plan through openings, acquisitions and refurbishment of its centres, which will result in significant job creation.

Thanks to this acquisition, the group will increase its purchases from local suppliers, which already account for the majority of its purchases from local suppliers.
